its not going to be easy.

The road to success is not going to be easy. But that's why you are more greatful once you make it. My dream is to be a music producer and a dj. You may think it can't be that hard to become a dj or music producer but it is. It requirers a lot of time and paitence. For awhile I was caught up thinking I was going to just walk up in the music world and all of a sudden I'm famous. It doesn't work like that. As a music producer I must learn how to use recording software such as midi and larn to make music with programs such as frooty loops and pro tools. As a dj I must learn how to use a mixer board. This stuff is not easy but I believe I can do it. Most people try to get in this field but quickly get out because they do not take the time to learn the software.I was once one of those people but now I'm going to college to learn all of this valueable information. So to all who want to work in the music business don't run at the site of pro tools or frooty loops. Sit down and learn!

concerts have come a long way

In the 1800s and early 1900s a concert to them was usually a band or a pianist. Mainly a instrumental type of show. We can see that concert styles have deffinitley changed. Now a days concerts are energetic, nobody is sitting down, and there are people singing and rapping over the music. Do we still have band concerts and instrumental type concerts? Yes but people would perferto go to a rap or rock concert. When you go to a concert where its an orchestra playing people are quiet and sitting down. At a rap or rock concert people are screaming at the top of their lungs jumping up and down. I am in concert band at my school and when we have concerts people are quiet and clap when we are finish. I like band music and band concerts, but id rather go to a rap or rock concert rather than a orchestra concert because when I like music I want to scream and jump not sit there and give a 10 second clap after the orchestra finished playing.

music producing is at its peak!

Music producing is at its peak right now. The technology is advanced to where if you can't sing the programs they use willl make you sound like an angel. Ranging from catchy commercial tunes to the top hit on the bill boards.its all producers now a days.producers charge from 300 to 10,000 dollars for one track. Not adding the royalty checks that come in everytime someone uses their songs. Now to all the not so musically gifted people out there reading this you can still make money too. Youthere are programs out there with all kinds of sounds and all you got to do is mix the tracks. You don't have to have any music talent what so ever. Its all about learning the trick of the trade. Personally I don't sing but I have this program on my computer called auto tune. It tunes your voice to where you are in perfect pitch. So in my song it will sound like I am an amazing singer. When the recession hit music producers were still raking in their cash. And they always will be because the music industry is at its peak!

music makes the world go round

Often you hear people say they could not live without music. You can live without music but life wouldn't be as fun. Every person has their favorite song. People often say a phrase and instantly peopl start singing a song related to that phrase. See music tells stories of people and their trials and tribulations they went through. If the world decided there would be no more music life would be dull. No story teling no song aboutlife lessons, no songs relating to the day. There wouldn't be any song to pump up athletes as they prepare for a ball game. Most people don't notice music but they would know if there was no more music in the world. Music grabs peolpes attention. If you were walking in the city and heard music playing, even if it wasn't your type of music you would go see who is making all that noise or see whose performing. Catchy commercial tunes are what people often remember when they see that product in the store. See music is used all kinds of ways,and without the world would be so plain

every type of music has a sound

When you think of rap you think of partying getting women and money. Country music is sad for the most part. And rock is up beat and covers a variety of topics. To me rap has a chill kind of sound.it makes you want to roll back in your ride and gently nod your head. When I listen to country I feel really sad. I generally listen to country when im upset or feel bad. I always listen to rock when I workout. Rock pumps me up with energy. See all music makes you feel a certain vibes. And makes you feel a certain way. How does these types of music make you feel?

Music is time consuming

Many people always have the dream to be a pop artist. but the sacrifices are blind to them. They don't know the trials and tribulations they go through. they barely see their family, in a different city every night barely any sleep it gets to you after awhile. Everytime a pop artist gets bustd with dugs i don't look away i understand why. All that stress gets hard and since you can't see your family they grow away from you and you lose them. Im not saying don't pursue your dreams beacuse i want to be a hip-hop artist. But be prepared for the hardships and see if you really can handle all of it

Rap IS music!

Many people today believe hip-hop isnt music. they believe it takes no talent to make a rap and rhyme words for a whole song while trying to prove a point. i would have to dissagree. if rap isnt music then neither is screamo or rock n' roll. i believe it takes just as much talent to rhyme over 16 bars as it does to play the guitar. One of my friends stated "rap is so easy anybody can do it, andyone can make a beat off a computer." i replied," well rap right now." and he said "i am not a rapper". Right there he proved his on staement of rap being easy wrong. and to all those who think it is easy reply on this blog and i want to see you rap and make sense while telling a story.
